Jackson County Central has been seeded first for the Section 3AA South Sub-Section boys basketball tournament and will host eighth-seeded St. James Area in the quarterfinals at 7 p.m. Saturday.
The Huskies enter the postseason with a 14-9 record, having closed out their regular-season schedule with a 72-61 loss to Marshall in the Big South Conference Showcase in Waseca Saturday.
Roman Voss scored 21 points, Travis Rogotzke 14, Erik Hesebeck 10 and Christian Benda eight.
The Saints are 8-17 with a game remaining at St. Peter Tuesday.
JCC won the lone regular-season game between the teams, 79-68 in Jackson on Feb. 6.
The winner between the Huskies and Saints advances to play either fourth-seeded Luverne or fifth-seeded Redwood Valley at a neutral site to be determined on Thursday, March 9.
In the North Sub-Section, Morris/Chokio-Alberta is seeded first and Eden Valley-Watkins second.
