Three Jackson County Central athletes earned the right to continue their season for another week at Thursday's Section 3A meet at Redwood Falls.
Two boys and one girl student-athlete qualified for the state Class A track and field meet at St. Michael-Albertville High School on Friday, June 18.
For the boys, Ridge VanWesten won the 300-meter hurdles and Trevin Gaustad advanced by placing second in the 110-meter hurdles.
On the girls side, Peyton Hanson placed second in the pole vault.
JCC's boys were fourth in the team standings and the girls 11th.
