Jackson County Central remains fifth in Class 2A in the latest high school football ratings by The Associated Press. The Huskies are 4-0 after last week’s 48-6 victory over Windom Area.
The top four 2A teams also remain the same with Chatfield first, followed by Minneapolis North, Caledonia and Barnesville.
Pipestone Area, a Section 3AA foe of JCC, is again sixth.
Martin County West received votes in the Class 1A poll. BOLD moves into the top spot in Class 1A.
Waseca is 10th in the 3A ratings. Cannon Falls is again first.
Marshall moved up two spots to sixth in Class 4A. Rocori is the new No. 1.
There’s also top-ranked team in Class 6A as Maple Grove moves into the top spot.
Also staying on top in their classes were Wheaton/Herman-Norcross (9 man) and Mankato West (5A).
