Jackson County Central had three players reach double figures in kills in sweeping New Ulm Thursday. Set scores were 25-13, 25-19, 25-20.
Emma Haren had 16 kills. Peyton Hanson 11 and Andria Benson 10 for the Huskies, now 9-4.
Haren also had 12 digs, two set assists and was 7-for-8 serving with one ace; Benson posted four digs, three blocks and was 5-5 serving; and Hanson had two blocks and was 2-4 serving.
Maci Farmer put up 40 set assists and recorded three kills, two digs and was 15-17 serving with one ace; Alexis O’Reilly had 10 digs and was 12-14 serving with one ace; and Elese Paplow was 17-17 serving and also had six digs and one set assist.
Also, Sawyer Flatgard had six kills, two blocks and was 2-3 serving; Brittany Tufvesson had three kills and one dig; and Erin Gallagher was 6-6 serving and also had two digs.
JCC will play in the Class AA Showcase at Midwest Volleyball Warehouse in Burnsville Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, the Huskies will play Norwood Young America at 5:30 p.m. and New London-Spicer at 7:30. JCC wraps up pool play at 10 a.m. Saturday vs. Pequot Lakes. Bracket play will follow.
