The Huskies have an overall record of 11-8, while the Saints are 3-12.

The JCC cross country teams will head to Fairmont for the I-90 Invitational at Cedar Creek Park.
FUN FACT: The I-90 meet originated in 1977 and in the early years the site of the meet alternated between Fairmont and Jackson until JHS decided it no longer wanted to host the meet.
Teams scheduled to compete in addition to the Huskies and host Cardinals are Belle Plaine, Blue Earth Area, Butterfield-Odin, Madelia/Truman/Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther, Heron Lake-Okabena, Mankato East, Martin County West, Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey, North Union, St. James Area, St. Peter, and Worthington.
Also, Thursday, the Jackson County Central volleyball team heads the other direction on the interstate as it goes to Luverne in a matchup of teams competing for Section 3AA South Sub-Section seed position.
Pipestone has the inside track on the No. 1 seed with a 16-2 record.
JCC, Luverne and Windom could do some jockeying for positions 2, 3 and 4 before the tournament is seeded.
Luverne has a 12-6 record with two victories over Windom; the Eagles are 11-7 with a win over JCC; and the Huskies are 11-8.
Friday, Oct. 7
The Jackson County Central football team, which is 5-0 start a season for the eighth time in its 26 years, plays at Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial.
The Huskies shut out Redwood Valley 35-0 on Saturday.
The Knights are 1-4. LCWM lost to Norwood Young America and Blue Earth Area, defeated LeSueur-Henderson and then losing two more, to Maple River and Pipestone.
