REDWOOD FALLS – Maci Farmer became the eighth player in the history of the Jackson County Central girls basketball program to reach the 1,000-point mark for her career in the Huskies 90-30 Big South Conference West Division girls basketball Thursday.
The Huskies led 50-9 at halftime.
Farmer reached the milestone when she scored her 17th point of the game late in the first half. The junior finished with 24 points.
Senior Sadie Voss, who became a member of the 1,000-point mark last season and is third on the career points list, led JCC with 32 points.
Farmer also had six steals and four rebounds, while Voss recorded six steals and five assists.
Rylie Cother scored a career-high 16 points and also posted six rebounds, five steals and four assists.
Jackson County Central is 9-5 overall, 4-3 in conference play. The Cardinals are 0-16 and 0-7.
The Huskies will host Worthington (7-5) Monday.
