Junior Bulls host tourney
Good crowd comes out to Wacker Field
More than 200 spectators turned out on a beautiful night for baseball Friday night as the Jackson Junior Bulls hosted a 13U tournament at the Wacker Field baseball complex.
The Junior Bulls beat Windom 8-3 in the opener as Ben Gallagher threw a complete game.
The Fairmont Junior Martins beat Sioux Center in their opening round and then beat the Junior Bulls 4-1 in the championship game. Gage Johnson threw a complete game for Jackson.
Members of the Junior Bulls include Gallagher, Johnson, Kasey Storm, Mason Foster, Austin O’Reilly, Kash Gilbert, Carson Kolander, Isaac Hesebeck, Carson Doescher, Jace Jorgensen, Kade Freking-Leu, Michael Reipke and Weston Murray.
The team is coached by Easton Bahr, Ed Gallagher and Mike Gilbert.
