Jackson County Central’s girls were first and the boys were second at a track and field meet Tuesday in Lake Crystal.
The Huskies won the girls title with 137 points, with River Valley (Sleepy Eye/Cedar Mountain/Sleepy Eye Saint Mary's/Springfield) second with 130,75.
JCC had five first-place finishes, including winning four field events.
Tianna Uilk won the shot put (34-00.50), Erica Hanson pole vault (7-3), Rylie Cother long jump (17-10) and Paylin Sether was first in triple jump (32-1).
The other first came from the 4x200-meter relay team of Allison Luebben, Stevie Untiedt, Zoey Hall and Cother (1:55.88).
Host Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial/Nicollet edged Jackson County Central 168-160.5 for the boys team title.
JCC’s boys had eight first-place finishes.
Ben Dahlin had two individual firsts, winning the 100 meters (11.2) and 200 meters (22.86).
Other individual firsts were by Dezmynd Tupper in the 400 meters (55.8), James Atura in the 110-meter hurdles (16.84), Ron'Queall Kyle in the long jump (19-6) and Quinn Landherr in pole vault (12-3).
The Huskies also won two boys relay races.
The 4x100 team of Tavion Diggs, Isaac Hesebeck, Atura and Kyle won that event (47.56) and the 4x200 squad of Clay Malchow, Kyle, Landherr and Dahlin was first (1:33.36).
Jackson County Central is scheduled to compete in Mountain Lake on Thursday.
