MADISON, Ala. – Brandon Williamson had his longest outing of the season and recorded his second win Wednesday as the Chattanooga Lookouts were 13-4 winners over the Rocket City Trash Pandas in a Southern League game.
Williamson went six innings and threw 82 pitches, 52 for strikes for the Lookouts, who are the Double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds.
The Martin County West graduate allowed one run on four hits, did not walk a batter and struck out eight.
For the season, Williamson has a 2-1 record, pitching 22 and one-third innings, giving up 13 runs on 20 hits, walking 15 and striking out 27. His strikeout total is the sixth highest in the Southern League.
