Brandon Williamson will be looking to bounce back from a tough outing his last time out when he takes the mound for the Louisville Bats in an International League vs. the Omaha Storm Chasers Friday night at Werner Field in Papillion.
Louisville is the Triple-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, while Omaha is an affiliate of the Kansas City Royals.
The Martin County West graduate was able to record only one out in his last start vs. the Iowa Cubs at Principal Park in Des Moines. Pitching in a steady rain, Williamson allowed eight runs on five hits, walking two.
For the season, Williamson has a 1-3 record with an earned run average of 8.46. In 22 and one-third innings he has allowed 25 runs (21 earned) on 35 hits, walked 16, hit two barters and struck out 16.
