ADRIAN – Jackson scored 13 runs in the sixth inning and the Bulls went on a claim a 24-10 amateur baseball win over Adrian Wednesday.
The hometown A’s had the lead after four innings.
Jackson scored five in the top of the first with Adrian scoring two in the bottom of the inning, The Bulls put two runs on the board in the third, with the A’s scoring six in the fourth to lead 8-7.
In the sixth, Jackson sent 19 batters to the plate, scoring 13 and leaving the bases loaded. Adrian scored two in its half of the sixth with the Bulls plating one in the seventh.
Seven players had multiple hit games for Jackson.
Lucas Gardner was 4-for-6 with a three-run home run and a double and had eight runs batted in.
Chris Gumto was 5-5 including a double and scored five runs. Evan Olesen was 4-5 with two doubles and scored five times.
‘Recording two hits apiece were Easton Bahr, Andy Wolf, Nate Monson and Alex Bretzman. Getting one hit were Shad Wacker, Trace Michelson and Blaise Jacobsen.
Jackson travels to Windom for a 7:30 p.m. game Friday.
