Sherburn native Carsen Musser recorded his 13th win of the season for the U.S. National Under-18 Team as it scored six third-period goals in an 8-5 win over the Madison Capitols of the USHL Friday at Bob Suter's Capitol Ice Arena in Middleton, Wis.
Musser finished the night with 24 saves. He was put to work in the second period, where he had 16 stops. He also had four apiece in the first and third periods.
For the season, the Colorado College commit has played in 23 games and has a 13-5 record. He’s played 1,130 minutes and 38 seconds and has a save percentage of .893 and his goals-against average is 3.02.
The U18s have an overall record of 40-10.
Next on the schedule for the NTDP is a home-and-home series with the Muskegon Lumberjacks next weekend.
