The Martin County West baseball team is scheduled to be at home Thursday, hosting Madelia in a 4:30 p.m. Valley Conference game at Fox Lake Area Sports Complex in Welcome.
MCW dropped both ends of a doubleheader in Truman Thursday, falling to Truman/Martin Luther/Granada-Huntley-East Chain by scores of 4-2 and 16-2.
Those losses dropped the Mavericks to 1-4 overall, 0-4 in conference play.
The Blackhawks come to Welcome 5-2 overall and 1-2 overall. Both losses have been to Cleveland, including a 3-1 setback on Tuesday at home.
Madelia won the first game between the teams 11-1 in Searles on April 10.
After Thursday, Martin County West hosts Cleveland (6-2) on Tuesday.
