MCW volleyball to open tourney at USC

Martin County West is seeded ninth for the Section 2A volleyball tournament and will travel to Wells to play eighth-seeded United South Central in the first round on Monday.

The teams did not meet during the regular season.

The winner advances to play at top-seeded Cleveland in the quarterfinals on Thursday, Oct. 28.
