ST. CLOUD – Luverne of the Gopher League has moved into the top 10 in Class C in the latest amateur baseball ratings by the Minnesota Baseball Association. The Redbirds are tied for 10th.
Watertown received three first-place votes to remain atop the Class C poll while Delano remained in the No. 2 slot for the second straight poll.
In Class B, someone other than Chanhassen is rated first for the first time since 2019 as ochester has taken over the top spot. Chanhassen, which shared No. 1 with Blaine last time, didn’t slip far, slipping only to No. 2 while the Fusion dropped to fourth.
For the second consecutive time, there’s a new No. 1 in Class A. The Minneapolis Cobras are on the top rung after a win over previous No. 1 Minnetonka, which is now second
