Martin County West will put its two-game winning streak on the field as the Mavericks host Wabasso in its homecoming football game at 7 p.m. Friday.
It will be the penultimate regular-season game on the MCW High School Field in Sherburn.
The final regular-season game is Thursday, Oct. 10 vs. Class 1A second-ranked Springfield. The Mavericks are in contention for a home playoff game and a win over the Rabbits would be a step in that direction.
