Adrian/Ellsworth shut out Martin County West 27-0 in a South (West-South) District football game Friday in Adrian. Both teams are now 1-1 overall.
The Mavericks had 38 yards offense, 22 rushing and 16 passing.
Maddex Faber completed five passes for 16 yards for MCW. Jacob Wilmes caught two balls for 18 yards.
Aiden Tweet rushed for 124 yards and three touchdowns for the Dragons.
Hank Olson had nine tackles for Martin County West. Berent Kosbab and Wilmes each had seven.
MCW hosts Tracy-Milroy-Balaton (1-1) this Friday. The Panthers defeated Sleepy Eye United 38-22 in Week 2.
