Jackson County Central finished third in the girls team standings and had an incomplete team in the boys meet at the Paul Metcalf Invitational cross country meet Friday at Mountain Lake Golf Course.
Murray County Central/Fulda won the girls team title with 48 points, host Mountain Lake Area/Red Rock Central/Comfrey had 70 and the Huskies 87.
JCC had two runners finish in the top 20 as Cora Pauling was 13th out of 59 runners with a 5K time of 22:46.81 and Naiya Ayers was 17th in 23:28.77.
Fairmont's Macy Hanson was the individual winner in 18:59.97.
JCC's boys were incomplete at Mountain Lake. Grant Ambrose was 64th of 85 runners with a 5K time of 23:04.43.
Josiah DeMaris of M/T/GHEC/ML was first in 16:21.49. MCC/Fulda was the team champ.
Jackson County Central competes in the Gerry Smith Invitational Thursday in Montgomery.
