Jackson County Central had eight all-conference performances in the boys meet and one in the girls at a Big South Conference quadrangular track and field meet at Bob Bonk Track in Fairmont.
Conference schools were split into three separate meets, with the largest four schools in enrollment competing in Marshall, the middle four schools in Fairmont and the smallest five schools in St. James.
Individuals placing in the top three and relays in the top two earned all-conference status.
Trevin Gaustad accounted for three of the all-conference performances for the JCC boys. He was first in the 110-meter high hurdles (16.99), second in the triple jump (40-6) and third in the long jump (19-1).
Caleb Vancura had the other first-place finish for the Huskies as he won the discus (140-4).
Earning-all BSC honors with second-place finishes were Ridge Van Westen in the 300 hurdles (44.18), Evan Insichienmay in the high jump (5-8) and Quinn Landherr in the pole vault (9-0).
Also, Evan Paplow receivces all-conference status with his third-place finish in the 3200 meters (10:48.27).
Waseca won the boys team title with 234 points, followed by Fairmont (198), JCC (114) and Luverne (103).
The lone all-conference performance for the Jackson County Central girls was a second-place finish by the 4x200-meter relay team of Hannah Carson, Taylot Post, Elsa Landherr and Maci Farmer (1:56.94).
Fairmont was the girls team winner with 224 points, with Luverne second (201), Waseca third (153.5) and JCC fourth (83.5).
The Huskies will compete in their sub-section meet at Redwood Falls Thursday.
