Jackson County Central and Martin County West both moved up one place in this week’s high school football ratings by The Associated Press.
The Huskies are now rated fourth in Class 2A. JCC, 6-0 on the season, will host ninth-ranked Pipestone (5-1) at 7 p.m. Friday. The Arrows slid down three notches after a 27-20 loss to Luverne.
Chatfield (6-0) is number one. The Gophers beat then-No. 3 Caledonia (5-1) 19-6 last week. The Warriors dropped to fifth. Blue Earth Area (5-1) entered the poll at No. 10.
The Mavericks (6-0) are now eighth in Class 1A. MCW travels to Springfield (4-2) Thursday. BOLD (6-0) remains first.
The other leaders are the same, Esko (6-0) in Class 3A, Stewartville (6-0) in Class 4A, Mankato West (6-0) in Class 5A, Maple Grove (6-0) in Class 6A, and Wheaton/Herman-Norcross (6-0) in nine-man.
