Jackson County Central was second in the boys team standings and fourth in the girls at the Warrior Invitational cross country meet Tuesday at Slayton Country Club.
Martin County West did not have a complete team in either race.
The top 10 finishers in each race received T-shirts and four Huskies went home with some new clothing.
For the boys, Andrew Boyum was third out of 52 runners in a time of 17:56, while Evan Paplow was fourth in 18:01.
Olivia Anderson was sixth of 49 runners in the girls race (23:16) and Elese Paplow 10th (23:50).
The Mavericks had two runners place in the top 10.
Jamesson Forsberg was second in the boys race (17:52) and Katie Hartke third in the girls (21:54).
The next meet for both JCC and MCW is the I-90 Invitational in Fairmont on Thursday, Oct. 7.
