Brandon Williamson threw five shutout innings, but wound up taking a no-decision for the Arkansas Travelers in the first game of a Double-A Central doubleheader at Tulsa Friday.
The Martin County West graduate allowed two hits, did not walk a batter and struck out five.
There was no score when Williamson left the game.
Arkansas won 3-1 with all of the scoring coming in the final inning of the seven-inning game.
Williamson has now pitched 41 innings this season between Double-A Arkansas and High-A Everett. He's allowed 15 runs (all earned) on 30 hits, walked 12, hit five and struck out 69. His earned-run average is 3.19.
