A six-run third inning propelled the Jackson Bulls to a 10-4 nonleague win over the Larchwood Diamonds on Saturday.
Larchwood scored single runs in the home half of the third and fourth frames, with Jackson responding with four in the top of the fifth for a 10-2 lead. The Diamonds scored their final two runs in the sixth.
Carter Snyder had three hits for the Bulls, with Shad Wacker, Evan Olesen and Trace Michelson each collecting two.
Recording one hit apiece were Blaise Jacobsen, Seth Busch, Nate Monson and Will Larson.
Former Jackson Bull Mitch Peschon had a sacrifice fly, walked and was hit by a pitch for Larchwood.
Michelson pitched the first five innings to record the win. He allowed two unearned runs on one hit, walked two and struck out three. Snyder and Larson pitched one inning apiece for Jackson with Vaske going the final two frames.
The Bulls host Luverne in a 2 p.m. game today (Sunday) at Wacker Field. Jackson then hosts Fairmont at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
