The Jackson County Central girls basketball team will take its school record winning streak to Luverne Tuesday for a 6 p.m. game that’s the front end of a girl-boy doubleheader.
JCC defeated Waseca 60-21 for its 14th straight victory. The previous record was 13 in a row in 2010-11.
Rylie Cother scored 31 points for the Huskies in the win over the Bluejays.
Jackson County Central is 17-6 on the season. Luverne is 3-19.
The Cardinals come into Tuesday with a loss, falling 79-38 to Fairmont on Friday. That came after Luverne had defeated Adrian/Ellsworth 64-49 to end its second seven-game losing streak of the season.
JCC won the first game between the teams 76-62 in Jackson on Jan. 13.
The Huskies go to Redwood Valley Friday and close out the regular-season schedule at home on Tuesday, Feb. 18 vs. St. James Area.
