Jackson County Central’s boys basketball team is 4-0 on the season with a pair of road games on the schedule for this week. The Huskies go to St. Peter Tuesday and Fairmont Friday in the second half of a girl-boy doubleheader.
JCC won road games on back-to-back nights last week, winning 76-60 at Blue Earth Area Thursday and 73-48 at Tri-City United Friday. The Huskies are 2-0 in Big South Conference East Division games.
St. Peter is 3-4 with its most recent game being a 68-67 loss to Mankato West Saturday.
Fairmont starts the week with a 2-2 record following a 69-31 win over Martin County West Saturday. The Cardinals host New Ulm (1-3) on Tuesday.
After the game at Fairmont, Jackson County Central has 10 days without a game before playing Dec. 30-31 in Marshall vs. Montevideo and Marshall.

Jackson County Central is sixth in scoring among the state’s Class 2A teams with 79.5 points per game although that only ranks the Huskies third in their sub-section.
Section 3AA South Sub-Section rival Redwood Valley is third (82.7) and Windom fifth (80.4). Mora is first (89.8).
Pequot Lakes is first allowed (33.0). The Patriots have played only one game.
