After road sweeps Monday and Tuesday, the Jackson County Central volleyball team had a day of practice Wednesday and will get on a bus again on Thursday.
The Huskies are now 7-8 on the season in matches and 21-26 in sets played.
To start the week, the Huskies were 3-0 winners at Estherville Lincoln Central on Monday, winning by set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 25-16. The Midgets, coached by JCC graduate Molly Brinkman, are 9-13.
On Tuesday, Jackson County Central won in three straight at St. James Area (25-10, 25-8, 25-11). The Saints are 3-10.
The Huskies will head to Ellsworth Thursday to face Adrian/Ellsworth. The Dragons have won three straight (Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda, Red Rock Central, Hills-Beaver Creek) and are 5-6 in matches and 17-19 in sets.
