Jackson County Central’s golf teams played in a triangular Tuesday at Rose Lake Golf Club in Fairmont.
The host Cardinals edged the Huskies 183-184 for the top spot in the boys meet. Truman/Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther finished with 208.
Medalist honors went to Fairmont’s Mathew Cone with a 39.
Luke Anderson was low for JCC with a 42.
Kasey Grimmius and Nolan Ambrose both shot 47 for the Huskies, Jessy Gentry carded a 48, while Dylan Hilpipre and Weston Rowe both shot 52.
Fairmont won the girls meet as well with a 210 total, while Jackson County Central had a 247 total and TGHECML did not have a complete team.
Brynn Gustafson of Fairmont was medalist with a 45.
Rachel Mohr led JCC with a 52, followed by Ramsey Johnson (57), Isabelle Henning (68) and Payton Coquit (70).
The next event for both Huskies teams is at Marshall, with the boys playing Monday and the girls Tuesday.
