Jackson County Central won 10 of the 14 matches with six falls as the Huskies were 48-17 winners over West Central Area/Ashby/Brandon-Evansville in the quarterfinals of the state Class 1A wrestling tournament this morning at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
Winners by fall for JCC were Kayden Eller (113), Isaac Rodriguez (120), Benjamin Dahlin (126), Thomas Freking (138), Skyler Andrews (145) and Caleb Vancura (220).
Winning decisions were Landon Andrews (132), Dylan Withers (170), Matt Haley (195) and Cameron Scholten (285).
The Huskies, 19-7, will wrestle Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted in the semifinals at about 1 p.m. The Lakers defeated Royalton/Upsala 37-25 in the first round.
