Windom handed Jackson its first loss of the season, 8-1 in First Nite League amateur baseball Sunday at Island Park in Windom.
The Pirates scored one run in the first inning, three in the second, one in the fifth and three in the sixth. The Bulls scored their lone run in the third inning.
Easton Bahr and Chris Gumto each had one hit including a double for Jackson. Also getting hits for the Bulls were Blake Evans and Shad Wacker.
Evan Olesen was the starting pitcher for Jackson and took the loss. Also pitching were Trace Michelson, Seth Busch and Will Larson. Kollin Lovell pitched the first seven innings for the Pirates and Kobe Lovell went the final two.
Three teams have one loss apiece in the First Nite League standings.
Fairmont is 6-1, Jackson 4-1 and Windom 3-1.
The Bulls have two games scheduled this weekend, hosting Hadley Saturday playing at the Milroy Irish Sunday. Both are 2 p.m. starts.
