Top-seeded Jackson was a 10-5 winner over Windom in the Sub-District B American Legion baseball tournament at Riverside Park in Springfield Friday.
Post 130 is now scheduled to play Springfield at 8 p.m. Saturday. The winner will advance to the Second District tournament at Wabasso as the No. 1 seed from the sub-district, while the loser plays Sunday for an opportunity to advance as the No. 2 seed.
Windom scored two runs in the top of the second Friday, with Jackson plating one in the bottom half of the frame. Jackson scored three in the fourth, one in the fifth and five in the sixth. Windom scored three in the top of the seventh.
Logan Butzon pitched six innings, giving up two runs. Andrew Boyum pitched the final inning.
Ben Spaeth had two hits including a double, Keenan Ambrose had two hits and walked and Damien Phaly had two hits.
Lucas Vesey had a hit, walked and was hit by a pitch, Mason Pohlman walked three times and Payton Handevidt had a hit and walked. Gavin Jacobsen tripled and Bryson Powers doubled.
