Prochaska runs at Knoxville
Lakefield driver 10th at 360 Nationals; will compete in 410s this week
Skylar Prochaska of Lakefield placed 18th in the 25-lap A main on the final night of the 360 Knoxville Nationals Saturday night at Knoxville Raceway. He had started 10th.
Several other drivers from the region made it to the A, with Justin Henderson (Tea, S.D.) third, Clint Garner (Sioux Falls) seventh and Matt Juhl (Tea, S.D.) 14th.
Kaleb Johnson (Sioux Falls) placed sixth in the B main.
Christopher Thram (Sanborn) placed 23rd in the C main after transferring from the D main with a second-place finish.
Brandon Halverson (Jackson) was 14th in the D main.
Also in the D main, Ryan Bickett (Ramona, S.D.) was 10th and Elliot Amdahl (Flandreau) 13th.
Gio Scelzi (Fresno, Calif.) won the 360 Knoxville title.
Daryn Pittman (Owasso, Okla.) finished second, with Henderson, Shane Golobic (Fremont, Calif.) and Brooke Tatnell (Sans Souci, NSW, Australia) rounding out the top five.
Next at Knoxville is the 10th annual Capitani Classic on Sunday night, with about 70 410 sprint cars expected to compete.
Then it will be the 60th Knoxville Nationals starting on Wednesday.
Henderson, Juhl and Garner will be among the drivers entered in qualifying on Wednesday. Prochaska qualifies on Thursday.
