JACKSON - Rain throughout the morning and an unfavorable forecast has forced Jackson Motorplex officials to postpone Tuesday’s Bank Midwest IMCA Series event.
It’s the third scheduled event at the track to be postponed because of weather this year.
Track officials are looking for a date to reschedule.
Classes in the series are IMCA modifieds, IMCA stock cars, IMCA sport mods, IMCA hobby stocks and IMCA sport compacts.
That series is scheduled to have three rounds. Other dates are June 14 and July 26.
The season opener is now scheduled for Friday with Tweeter Contracting and Boji Spudz Night.
The Midwest Sprint Touring Series and Midwest Power Series combine for a $3,000-to-win 360 feature. The Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Cars will also compete in a $700-to-win main event.
