Two races are on the schedule for later this month at Jackson Motorplex.
The first event of the month at the track was postponed last Friday when the Bank Midwest 360 Challenge presented by Livewire Printing fell victim to the weather.
The Gunderson Racing Inc. Midwest Sprint Touring Series and QualityFreightRate.com Midwest Power Series 360 sprint cars were slated to run that night, as well as the Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series.
It’s still hoped that the event can be rescheduled this season.
Next on the docket is the Bank Midwest IMCA Series Fair Race featuring the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Hobby Stocks, IMCA Sport Mods and IMCA Sport Compacts on Tuesday, July 25.
Friday, July 28 is slated to feature the New Fashion Pork 360 Challenge presented by Best Western Fairmont featuring the Barb and Dean Wieskus Memorial for the Gunderson Racing Inc. Midwest Sprint Touring Series and QualityFreightRate.com Midwest Power Series 360 sprint cars and the Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series.
The season at Jackson is scheduled to conclude with the 45th annual AGCO Jackson Nationals Aug. 17-19.

Gravel 6th at Wilmot
David Gravel finished sixth Saturday at the Federated Auto Parts Larry Hillerud Memorial Badger 40 at Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wis.
It marked the 36th top 10 of the season for the Big Game Motorsports driver.
“I felt like we qualified good and from there we struggled with the balance of the car,” he said. “We worked on it all night, but I think we were just a step behind all night after qualifying. That place got a lot of rain the night before and that morning. The track had a lot of grip and we were too much on the tight side.”
Gravel placed second in a heat race before ending seventh in the dash, giving him the seventh starting position in the main event.
This week features five straight nights of racing in Ohio, beginning on Tuesday with the Ohio Logistics Brad Doty Classic at Attica Raceway Park in Attica. Gravel is a two-time World of Outlaws winner at the track.
The next four nights will be spent at Eldora Speedway near Rossburg starting with the Eldora Million, which runs Wednesday and Thursday with a $1,000,000 top prize for the feature winner. The Kings Royal follows on Friday and Saturday with $175,000 up for grabs for Saturday’s winner.
