The 61st Knoxville Nationals get underway Wednesday at Knoxville Raceway.
There’s qualifying Wednesday and Thursday, Friday’s Hard Knox Night and then Saturday is Championship Night.
Skylar Prochaska (Lakefield) is among Wednesday’s qualifiers.
Thursday qualifiers include Matt Wasmund (Jackson) and Brooke Tatnell (Sans Souci, NSW, Australia) in the DeWall No. 16.
The Knoxville 360 Nationals were held last week.
Kaleb Johnson (Sioux Falls) won the C Main and was 17th in the B Main. Prochaska was seventh in the C Main.
Aaron Reutzel (Clute, Tex.) won the 30-lap A Main.
The Capitani Classic followed on Sunday. Prochaska finished 20th in the B Main.
Logan Schuchart (Hanover, Penn.) won the 25-lap A Main, with Donny Schatz (Fargo) second and Reutzel third.
MPS-MSTS
The Midwest Power Series and Midwest Sprint Touring Series are in a break in their schedules.
The MSTS resumes Aug. 26 at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Neb. and then runs the next night at Off Road Speedway in Norfolk, Neb.
Next on the schedule for the Midwest Power Series is Sept. 3-4 at Huset's Speedway.
