The final 360 event of the season will be held Friday at Jackson Motorplex.
On the schedule is the Gunderson Racing Inc. Midwest Sprint Touring Series and QualityFreightRate.com Midwest Power Series 360 during the New Fashion Pork 360 Challenge presented by Best Western Fairmont featuring the Barb and Dean Wieskus Memorial.
Also, in action that night will be the Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series.
In the lone 360 show in Jackson this season, Aaron Reutzel (Clute, Tex.) was the winner.
Kaleb Johnson (Sioux Falls) will be among the drivers in Jackson Friday.
He finished fourth in the 360 class in Jackson earlier year.
Johnson had three 360 top five finishes at the dirt oval last year as well as in the 2021 finale, giving him a five-race streak of top fives in the division at Jackson Motorplex.
“I feel I’ve gotten pretty comfortable there the past couple of years in a 360,” he told Inside Line Promotions. “It’s a place we know we’re good at so I’m definitely looking forward to it.
“It doesn’t race like Knoxville, but it’s like a mini-Knoxville. It fits my style where you have to be smooth and keep your speed up. Racing at Knoxville has helped me not only there, but at other tracks as well.”
Johnson wraps up the weekend at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, S.D., where he is 10th in the championship standings thanks to three top fives this season.
Blaine Stegenga (Valley Springs, S.D.) and Brandon Buysse (New Ulm) each posted a Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series win at Jackson this season.
Hot laps will start at 7:30 p.m.
The final event of the season in Jackson is the 45th annual AGCO Jackson Nationals powered by FENDT, set for Aug. 17-19.
The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series event features the same format as last year with drivers accumulating points throughout a full World of Outlaws program the first two nights.
The combined point total sets the stage for the $25,000-to-win finale.

Gravel earns ninth win
Driver David Gravel and Big Game Motorsports is one win away from reaching double digits in 2023.
The team captured its ninth World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series win of the season last Thursday at BAPS Motor Speedway in York Haven, Penn. Gravel qualified 12th quickest to start the World of Outlaws Bricker’s Bash, the first series race at the track in 31 years.
A run from third to second place in a heat race earned a spot in the dash and Gravel gained a position to finish third in the dash, giving him the third starting spot in the main event.
Gravel quickly moved into second place in the feature. He briefly took the lead on Lap 14 but was slowed in traffic and lost the position the following lap. Five laps later, Gravel took over the top spot for good and he pulled away for his 85th career World of Outlaws triumph.
“Man, I think (the racing lanes) were about equal,” Gravel said in an interview on DIRTVision. “Wherever the lapped car wasn’t that’s where I had to go. Brad (Sweet) was pretty good. I was behind Freddie (Rahmer), and that one lap he went to the top in front of me and gave Brad the lead back. Just happy to have a good enough car.”
At Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Penn. on Friday Gravel finished 11th in the feature after qualifying 14th and placing third in his heat race.
On Saturday at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Penn., Gravel was second in the feature, 11th in qualifying and third in his heat race.
Gravel is tied for the lead in the World of Outlaws championship standings.
The WoO is at the Empire State Challenge Weekend Saturday and Sunday at Weedsport Speedway in Weedsport, N.Y.
