In this newsletter we have information on the return to racing at Huset’s Speedway, the Worl of Outlaws are in the midst of a break for the Fourth of July, Fairmont Raceway hosts the Bacon Town Challenge Sunday and Jackson Motorplex fires up for the first time this season next week.
Huset’s Speedway
Racing returns to Huset’s Speedway in Brandon Sunday following a lot of work to repair the facility since the water has receded from recent flooding.
It will be Metro Construction Night featuring the Midwest Sprint Touring Series 410 Sprint Cars and Cressman Sanitation 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars, Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks and the Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series.
Kaleb Johnson leads the championship standings at Huset’s Speedway by 37 points over Justin Henderson with Tim Estenson third, 53 points behind Johnson.
Mark Dobmeier is the MSTS 410 Sprint Cars points leader by two points over Estenson with Ryan Bickett six points off the pace.
Also from Huset’s, the The BillionAuto.com Huset’s High Bank Nationals dates that were postponed last month have been rescheduled for Labor Day Weekend.
With the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series already headed to the high-banked track for a doubleheader, Huset’s Speedway officials have elected to make it a tripleheader from Friday, Aug. 30, to Sunday, Sept. 1.
The opener on Aug. 30 will be the Huset’s Hustle presented by Folkens Brothers Trucking, which showcases a $25,000-to-win, $2,000-to-start feature. There will be a unique format to the race released later and the points from the Huset’s Hustle preliminary night in June will not be a part of the program.
Additionally, the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks will be in action for their championship night.
