Brandon Halverson of Jackson had his best finish of the season at I-90 Speedway in Hartford, S.D. in the IMCA RaceSaver with a second-place finish Saturday night.
The previous week, he placed second in Midwest Sprint Touring Series feature.
Lee Goos Jr. (Hartford) won this week’s 20-lap IMCA feature.
Eli Hargreaves (Crooks, S.D.) was third, Casey Abbas (Lennox) fourth and Elliot Amdahl (Flandreau) fifth.
Halverson had finished fourth in his heat race.
Knoxville
Lynton Jeffrey (Sydney, NSW, Australia) won Saturday’s 410 A main at Knoxville Raceway, with Aaron Reutzel (Clute, Tex.) winning the Make-up A main.
Terry McCarl (Altoona) was the 360 winner. Kaleb Johnson (Sioux Falls) finished fourth.
Huset’s
Crews worked hard throughout the week to get Huset’s Speedway ready to go after storms rolled through Brandon on Memorial Day weekend, but rain Sunday afternoon and into the evening caused the postponement of that night’s World of Outlaws show.
The event was rescheduled as a stand-alone $10,000-to-win race on Wednesday, June 22.
After that, the inaugural Huset’s High Bank Nationals are scheduled for June 23-25.
The first night pays $15,000 to win and $1,000 to start, the second night is $20,000 to win and $1,500 to start and the finale offers $100,000 to win and $3,000 to start.
Fairmont
The next two Wednesdays are regular nights of racing at Fairmont Raceway with USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks, USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, and USRA Tuners on the program.
On June 22, the track hosts the opening event of the United States Racing Association Summer Shootout, five straight nights of racing in the region.

Thurs., June 23 – Rapid Speedway, Rock Rapids
Fri., June 24 – Sports Park Raceway, Fort Dodge
Sat., June 25 – Hamilton County Speedway, Webster City
Sun., June 26 – Mason City Motor Speedway, Mason City
Stock Car and B-Mod drivers can win as much as $13,000 and one Hobby Stock driver will take home at least $7,000 with a sweep.
Each of the first four nights, Stock Cars and B-Mods will race for $2,000 to win and $300 to start with Hobby Stocks chasing a $1,000 top prize and $150 to start.
On the final night, Stock Cars and B-Mods will compete for $5,000 to win and $400 to start while Hobby Stock racers seek $3,000 to win and $300 to start.
