Jaedon Erickson (Welcome) won his fourth feature in as many tries this season at Fairmont Raceway Friday. He also won the lone heat race.
Logan Kelly (Fairmont) was second and Brandon Hartmann (Fairmont) third. Erickson has a two-point lead over Hartmann in that division's updated point standings.
Two other drivers won their third feature of the season Friday.
Mark Noble (Blooming Prairie) is now a three-time winner in the modified class. Todd Stinehart (Waseca) was second and Brandon Beckendorf (Danube) third.
Beckendorf and Oliver Kollofski (Fairmont) were heat winners. Noble owns a 10-point lead over Kollofski in season points.
In the B mods class, Jared Boumeester (Waseca) won for the third time this season. Following him across the finish line were Troy Gochanour (Armstrong) and Jeff Carter (Mapleton).
Gochanour and Boumeester won the heat races. Boumeester leads Randy Winter (Winnebago) by 12 points in the point standings.
Derek Green (Granada) won his second stock car feature of the season. Jeff Larson (Lakefield) was second and Kellie Drury (Eldora, Iowa) third.
Green and Larson won the heat races. Green has a 21-point lead over Luke Sathoff (Jackson) in the point standings.
Ernie Dailey (Worthington) won his first hobby stock feature of the season. Greg Sidles (Fairmont) placed second and Parker Larson (Lewisville) third.
Dailey and DJ Clinton (Estherville) won the heat races. In the new point standings, Larson has a one-point lead over Sidles.
The next event at Fairmont Raceway is July 16.
Jackson Motorplex
Jackson Motorplex is silent this weekend, but five nights of racing are scheduled at the facility the remainder of the month.
First up will be the World of Outlaws Late Model Series with Tri-State Late Models, a two-night event slated for July 9-10.
Defending series champion Brandon Sheppard has a 58-point lead over Chris Madden, with Tyler Bruening 216 points back. The Jackson stop is the next event on the series schedule.
The group raced at Jackson last year, with Ricky Thornton Jr. winning on Saturday after Ricky Weiss had won on Friday.
On Friday, July 16 will be the Barb Wieskus Memorial with the Midwest Sprint Touring Series/Midwest Power Series and RaceSaver Sprint Car Series.
The Bank Midwest IMCA Series will make its third and final stop at Jackson on Tuesday, July 20 with A modifieds, stock cars, hobby stocks, sports mods and sport compacts.
Closing out the month will be another appearance by the Midwest Sprint Touring Series/Midwest Power Series and RaceSaver Sprint Car Series on Friday, July 30.
Huset's
Huset's is also quiet on this holiday weekend.
Next event at the Brandon facility will be next Sunday (July 11) for the Midwest Sprint Touring Series/Midwest Power Series, RaceSaver Sprint Car Series and late model street stocks.
MSTS
Jody Rosenboom (Rock Rapids) won his first Midwest Sprint Touring Series feature of the season Saturday night at I-90 Speedway in Hartford, S.D.
Filling out the top five were Ryan Bickett (Ramona, S.D.), Brendan Mullen (Grand Forks), Travis Reber (Rapid City) and Troy Schreurs (Baltic, S.D.).
The next event on the MSTS schedule is July 16 at Jackson Motorplex.
Knoxville
Justin Henderson (Tea, S.D.) won the 410 A main Saturday night at Knoxville. Brian Brown (Grain Valley, Mo.) was second, Cory Eliason (Visalia, Calif.) third, Davey Heskin (St. Michael) fourth and Austin McCarl (Altoona) fifth.
Eliason won the 360 A main. Rounding out the top five were Clint Garner (Sioux Falls), Calvin Landis (Knoxville), Kaleb Johnson (Sioux Falls) and Matt Moro (Polk City).
