MSTS
The Midwest Sprint Touring Series will try again to get its season started Friday at Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids.
Two scheduled dates at Park Jefferson Speedway last month were rained out.
Eric Lutz (Sioux Falls) won last year's MSTS points title by 88 points over Jody Rosenboom (Rock Rapids). Derrik Lusk (Jackson) was eighth in the point standings.
The MSTS is scheduled to be at Jackson Motorplex next Friday (May 28). That event will be followed the next night by a show at I-90 Speedway in Hartford, S.D.
