NORMAN, Okla. – Jackson County Central graduate Keegan Moore is rated 10th at 184 pounds in NCAA Division I wrestling ratings released recently by the website InterMat.
Moore, who has one season of eligibility remaining, wrestled last season at Oklahoma.
He was inserted into the Sooners lineup in early February and was seeded seventh for the Big 12 tournament despite his late inclusion in the lineup and placed fourth to qualify for his second NCAA tournament.
In the NCAA Championships he was the No. 27 seed and went 2-2 with two upset wins. Keegan was also named a National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-American.
Moore also wrestled in the 2018 NCAAs while competing for Oklahoma State. He has also wrestled for Northern Iowa.
His career collegiate record is 43-28 with six major decisions, 16 technical falls and two pins.
Moore was a three-time state champion while at JCC. He has the third-most wins in school history, but also ranks third in his own family.
Jay and Rhonda Moore’s youngest son compiled 227 wins with the Huskies, trailing older brothers Cooper (237) and Paden (229).
