Pod semifinal voting starts Thursday

We’re ready for the semifinal round in Random Bracket Challenge V.

Three of the four number one seeds are still going. The only top seed to be eliminated is Okay Boomer in the Wade Wacker Pod.

The other number one seeds are still going:

• Brandon Williamson Pod: Glinda the Good

• Milton Portmann Pod: Hitting the Snooze Button

• Garland Buckeye Pod: Wheel of Fortune

Semifinal voting in the Wacker and Williamson pods starts Thursday. Voting in the Portmann and Buckeye pods starts Friday.

Cooper DeJean grew up in Odebolt, Iowa, and graduated from Odebolt-Arthur-Battle Creek-Ida Grove High School. He played college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes and is a cornerback and punt returner for the Philadelphia Eagles. His first career interception was off Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes in Super Bowl LIX, helping the Eagles to a 40-22 win.

Puppies are juvenile dogs, usually less than 12-18 months old.

Glinda the Good is a fictional character created by L. Frank Baum for his Oz novels, and is the most powerful sorceress in the Land of Oz. She is ruler of the Quadling Country South of the Emerald City, and protector of Princess Ozma.

That Drunk Girl Meme is a meme of a girl who is drunk girlsplaining to a guy who looks anxious to get away from her.

Drinking From a Hose became the fifth entry in RBC history to reach the coveted 90 percent mark in the Brandon Williamson Pod quarterfinals.

Lunchables is an American brand of food and snacks. Working mothers, especially, were pressed by the time constraints of fixing breakfast for their families as well as packing lunch for their children to eat at school. Crackers were substituted for bread because they would last longer in grocery coolers.
