Voting in Wade Wacker Pod resumes Saturday

Voting resumes Saturday in Random Bracket Challenge V.

Through Monday you’ll be able to vote on each of the first-round matchups in the Wade Wacker Pod.

The plan is to begin voting in the Brandon Williamson Pod on Sunday as we got ourselves a little behind schedule this week.

No. 1 Okay Boomer vs. No. 8 Puppies

Okay Boomer is a dismissive or mocking phrase used by younger generations to respond to perceived outdated or irrelevant opinions or behaviors of older individuals, particularly those born during the baby boom era (roughly 1946-1964).

Puppies are juvenile dogs, usually less than 12-18 months old.

No. 4 Delulu vs. No. 5 Cooper DeJean

Delulu is a slang term, a shortened version of "delusional." It’s often used to describe someone who is perceived as having an overly optimistic or unrealistic view of a situation, especially in online communities and fan culture.

Cooper DeJean grew up in Odebolt, Iowa, and graduated from Odebolt-Arthur-Battle Creek-Ida Grove High School. He played college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes and is a cornerback and punt returner for the Philadelphia Eagles. His first career interception was off Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes in Super Bowl LIX, helping the Eagles to a 40-22 win.
