The Jackson County Central wrestling team will start the 2025 portion of its schedule in Fargo Thursday and Friday for the Rumble on the Red Championships.
A total of 69 teams from six states are scheduled to compete in the tournament, which will have varsity boys, JV boys and girls divisions. A total of 22 mats are used in the Fargodome.
The Huskies have been idle from competition since winning the Austin Roberts Memorial in Spencer.
Jackson County Central has won the Rumble on the Red team title twice, in 2007 and 2021.
JCC is scheduled to be in action three times next week, with two of the events at home.
The Huskies have a dual vs. Tracy-Milroy-Balaton/Westbrook-Walnut Grove in Tracy Tuesday, host a quadrangular with Luverne, New Ulm and Redwood Valley Thursday (Jan. 9) and the Big South Conference tournament will be held in Jackson on Saturday (Jan. 11).
