The Jackson Bulls wrapped up their regular-season schedule with a pair of non-league games over the weekend.
On Saturday, Jackson was a 13-5 winner at Wells and then on Sunday the Bulls lost to Luverne 13-5 at Wacker Field.
Three players had multiple-hit games in Saturday’s win.
Lucas Gardner had four hits and three runs batted in; Ryan Rasche had three hits including a home run and a double and four RBIs; and Shad Wacker had two hits and a squeeze bunt and two RBIs.
Gavin Jacobsen pitched five innings and earned the win. Pat Boggess, Kevin Holm and Sean Minder also pitched.
On Sunday, Wacker had a two-run single for Jackson. Gabe Wolff doubled, with Gardner and Blaise Jacobsen also recording hits.
Will Larson started on the mound for the Bulls. Gardner, Minder and Evan Olesen also pitched.
The Bulls will face Worthington in the league playoffs starting with a 7:30 p.m. game Wednesday at Wacker Field.
Game Two is at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Worthington with Game Three (if necessary) at 2 p.m. Sunday in Jackson.
