Lacey Reitz and Northwestern College have won each of their pool-play matches at the NAIA Volleyball Championships in Sioux City.
The Red Raiders opened the tournament Tuesday by rallying from a 2-1 deficit to beat Oklahoma City University 3-2.
Reitz recorded her 10th double-double of the season with 50 assists and 12 digs. The Jackson County Central graduate, a senior setter, was three assists away from her career high.
On Wednesday, she had 35 assists and eight digs for Northwestern in a 3-0 win over Corban (Ore.).
The fifth-ranked Red Raiders, 22-4 on the season, will face Great Plains Athletic Conference rival Midland in the quarterfinals at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Tyson Events Center. The Warriors are rated 12th.
The GPAC has five of the eight teams in the quarterfinals. Dordt and Concordia (Neb.) meet in another one of the quarterfinal matches. University of Jamestown is the final GPAC team still playing.
Semifinal matches are Friday, with the championship match Saturday.
