FAIRMONT – Host Fairmont was a 13-3 winner in seven innings over Jackson in First Nite League amateur baseball Wednesday at Herb Wolf Field.
Five players had one hit apiece for the Bulls.
Ryan Rasche had two runs batted in, one on an RBI single in the first inning and the other on a sacrifice fly in the third. Evan Olesen had an RBI single in the seventh.
Gavin Jacobsen doubled for the Bulls. Also getting hits were Andy Wolf and Leighton Polz.
Tyler Tennyson and Jon Traetow each hit a home run for the Martins.
Jacobsen took the pitching loss for Jackson. Also pitching were Pat Boggess, Lucas Gardner and Kevin Holm.
Jackson is 12-6 in league play while Fairmont is 8-5. Windom is 13-3.
The Bulls are at Blue Earth for a non-league game Friday.
