Jackson County Central’s girls basketball team has back-to-back road games on the schedule the next two nights.
On Thursday, the Huskies go to Comfrey for a nonconference matchup with Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey while on Friday they get back on the bus and travel to Waseca for a Big South Conference Medium School Pop game.
The Huskies are 7-5 overall after a 79-35 home victory over Blue Earth Area Tuesday. JCC led 52-30 at halftime and outscored the Buccaneers 27-5 in the second half.
Maci Farmer led JCC in scoring as she matched BEA’s total herself, finishing with 35 points, of which 23 came in the first half.
Rylie Cother scored 20 points.
The Wolverines have a 10-4 record as they prepare to host the Huskies, and the Bluejays are 9-4 as they wait for Jackson County Central to visit Friday.
