Eight Power Four football conference schools are now bidding for the services of Roman Voss. Kansas is the latest to extend an offer, the Jackson County Central junior made the announcement posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) Wednesday.
Previous offers came from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Kansas State, Iowa, Iowa State, Illinois, and California.
Kansas is a member of the Big 12 Conference, which now has 16 teams. The Jayhawks had a record of 9-4 in 2023 that included a 49-36 win over UNLV in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl in Phoenix.
Lance Liepold is in his fourth year as head coach at Kansas. The Jayhawks have a 17-21 record under Wilcox and has played in two bowl games.
Voss is listed as an Athlete by recruiting services. He has played quarterback and receiver on offense and safety on defense for the Huskies and has also been the punter.
