Sadie Hotzler of Jackson is third in Pole Bending after the first go-round at the National Little Britches Rodeo Finals at Lazy E Arena in Edmond, Okla.
Hotzler, the defending world champion in the event, had a time of 20.467 seconds. There are 161 entries in that event. Sitting first is Harley Ann Baas of Brighton, Colo. in 20.495 seconds.
Sadie had a time of 14.179 seconds in Barrel Racing and is in 13th place out of 195 entries. First place is Tara Forester of Arcadia, Kansas in 13.722.
