Jackson County Central remains eighth in the latest Class 2A rankings by the Minnesota Fastpitch Coaches Association. The Huskies are 5-0 record.
They’re scheduled to play a doubleheader at Luverne (6-1) at 4 p.m. Friday. Those games were postponed on Thursday.
The Cardinals received votes in the 2A ratings. Two other Big South Conference teams, Fairmont (6-2) and Belle Plaine (5-3) also received votes in 2A.
Randolph (5-0) is again ranked first in Class 2A, with Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial (7-0) second.
JCC is scheduled to play at LCWM at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Knights have a game scheduled vs. Fairmont Friday.
United South Central (8-0) is rated first in Class 1A. The Rebels play at Martin County West (5-1) Friday. The Mavericks, whose lone loss was at 1A No. 8 Cleveland (7-1) are first scheduled to host Windom (2-6) on Thursday.
Mankato East (6-0) is the Class 3A leader. New Ulm (5-0) of the Big South Conference is rated third in 3A.
Forest Lake (7-0) leads Class 4A.
